Old Man River Project -Chapter 8

Roam Ontario: Old Man River Project Chapter 8

Chapter 8/10: Deep South

Day 83 to Day 100. Brett explores the cotton fields of Clarksdale Mississippi. Viewers get a glimpse of what the Mississippi River once looked like: swamp and giant cypress trees. The teams visits Vicksburg and explores one of the pivotal battlefields of the American Civil War. With the expedition behind schedule, Magnus is facing the reality that he will probably not be able to reach the Gulf of Mexico as he is forced to leave to fulfil a prior commitment. The expedition is running long. The team reaches Baton Rouge where they are greeted by the Lower Mississippi Riverkeeper team who will receive the boat when the expedition is complete. From here south, the team will never be the same as Magnus says goodbye.
